Top Tips for Protecting Your Eyes This Allergy Season
April showers bring May flowers, but it also brings the challenge of seasonal allergies.
Millions of people each year are affected and deal with sneezing and itchy, watery eyes.
Managing allergy symptoms can be challenging, but here are a few tips to help soothe your allergy eyes:¹
- Stay inside and keep the windows closed.
- Protect your eye by wearing glasses or sunglasses.
- Thoroughly wash your hands.
- And avoid rubbing your eyes.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC),² about one quarter (25.7%) of adults and nearly 1 in 5 children (18.9%) have a seasonal allergy.
